Seattle Opens Their Doors for Start Ups: Smart Cities

Seattle's smart city coordinator, Kate Garman, tells NMG Media' Abe Nejad that both small and large companies have value in the smart city space. She adds that some best practices she learned during her tenure in Kansas City, MO was to be sure that the technologies you deploy be very specific to the challenges of your city. Garman says that energy conservation and transportation is where she sees the most activity in the smart city sector.
